The purpose of hearing and vision screening is to identify children who may have a visual or hearing impairment. Vision and hearing impairments get in the way of a child’s ability to learn and often go unnoticed. It’s important to be pro-active, because without a screening test, a problem may not be found until a child develops significant educational or medical problems. With screenings, a child’s previously unrecognized problems can now be identified and treated.

Full Service:
With over20 years of successfully screening schools all over Arizona and over 25 years of personal experience in schools, we help return school nurses, health aides, and staff to their primary role of better serving students while we administer and provide:
Full state annually mandated hearing and vision screenings (following state mandates, guidelines, and recommended practices) by state certified screeners with current IVP fingerprint clearance cards
State approved screening equipment with current calibration
All paperwork and refer letters provided to schools for parent/guardian notifications
Electronic rostered results for your school records
Ongoing assistance and support with your annual ADHS Sensory Screening State Reporting
Records kept on file for 3 years
For schools with prior screening with AZVH, tracking of all prior hearing refers for state required annual rescreening
Rescreening visits available within 10-30 school days from initial screening and scheduled at your request and convenience
Everyone on our staff has had prior work experience with students and in schools. We understand how to work with your students, how to complete your mandated screenings thoroughly and quickly, and with the least possible interruption in learning time. We are also available to answer direct questions from parents/guardians without adding to your staffs’ already full plates!
Our services are also available for homeschool co-ops, and assisted/independent living facilities.
